The client wanted a 2 bedroom retreat home with a courtyard. We proposed a design to give more flexibility for the client yet following his budget. 
The idea is to add a mezzanine floor to act as a bedroom and below as a living hall. The courtyard is inserted in the middle to connects the other room and the living hall.
